SDWS

I visited the San Diego Watercolor Society with my Palomar College painting class on Saturday and toured the International Exhibit.  Artist & member Rise Parberry gave a phenomenal docent tour.  Rise's Fossil Fusion won the 3rd Place Award and was a beautiful abstract experimental piece. If you can't get to the exhibit you can view the winning entries on the SDWS website http://sdws.org/.  Really beautiful & inspiring pieces!

Thank you sooo much for visiting my sites and for the lovely comment. I apologize for writing to you here, but could not locate an email for you.

Visited the online SDWS show....WOW! Thanks for sharing the link. Brought back memories being that I did several demos and workshops for them a hundred years ago, well, maybe some thirty years ago. Still recognized some of the members names. I am curious...can anyone tell me anything on Dolores Hill? She was very active in the society.

Thanks again, and you keep doing art, your drawing of the elephant is excellent and I love the story behind the colored pencil drawing.
